• On Friday, Apr 18 2008, Penn's Civilians will hold its 3rd Annual Fundraising Dinner at The Penn Stater in State College, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the event is not only to raise money to support Penn's Civilians' programs, but to also create awareness of the organization and build positive relationships with community members.
  
  
• W. Terrell Jones, Vice Provost for Educational Equity at The Pennsylvania State University, will serve as keynote speaker for the event.
  
  
• Jerry Sundusky, Coach, Community Leader, and Founder of The Second Mile, will serve as honoree for the event.
  
  
• The evening will bring together current and former professional and collegiate athletes, respected community leaders, corporate sponsors and current student participants and their families.
  
  
• Our goals are to raise $10,000 and to have 120 people in attendance.
